Busan to Foster R&D Planning Talent... 2nd BISTEP Practical Training Course to Be Held on the 20th

Busan Institute of Science and Technology Promotion (President Kim Youngbu, BISTEP) will hold the '2nd R&D Planning Competency Level-Up Training' on the 20th at the Convention Hall of Busan City Hotel for local research institute, university, and corporate researchers and R&D managers.

This training aims to strengthen professional competencies required for practical planning of national R&D projects. In particular, it focuses on cultivating 'practical talents' by providing content that new researchers can immediately apply in the field, covering the entire process from the planning stage to securing a budget.

The three-hour program consists of three courses: △Understanding national R&D projects (including key policy keywords for 2025), △Strategies for attracting new regional projects, and △How to write business proposals to secure national funding. The lectures are designed to enhance field applicability by focusing on actual policy changes and successful cases of securing budgets.

Kim Youngbu, President of BISTEP, emphasized, "Strengthening the planning competency of local researchers is key to attracting national projects and enhancing industrial competitiveness," and added, "We will continue to expand practical training programs that can be applied directly in the field."

Any researcher or manager interested in R&D planning can apply for the training, and up to 60 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Detailed information can be found on the BISTEP website.
