'Ieum' signifies the connection between past, present, and future, as well as among employees, customers, and society. The name was selected through a contest and vote among IBK employees.
The IBK History Museum features three cubes representing the IBK logo in three dimensions: History, Innovation, and Vision. Each cube is designed to reflect its respective theme.
The History Cube is filled with historical materials such as past documents and promissory notes that trace the footsteps of IBK. The Innovation Cube consists of a digital frame showcasing IBK's achievements that contributed to the Korean economy and the evolution of its headquarters and branches. The Vision Cube presents videos of a day in the life of IBK employees from the 1960s and the 2020s, highlighting the enduring values of IBK across generations.
IBK plans to operate Ieum Square not only as a history museum but also as a platform for brand experience and communication. The museum is open to everyone free of charge on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
An IBK official said, "Through Ieum Square, we aim to shed new light on IBK's role, enhance employee pride, and deliver trust and value to our customers."
