Cube Entertainment (hereafter Cube) girl group i-dle will release their first Japanese album since rebranding.

i-dle (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) will release their first Japanese EP album titled 'i-dle' on October 3, following their group name change. This album, which uses the team name as its title, marks their first new Japanese release in five years and their first since rebranding.

The EP 'i-dle' includes a total of five tracks: three new songs including the title track 'Eotteokhaji', as well as Japanese versions of 'Queencard' and 'Naneun Apeun Geon Ddak Jilsaeginikka (Fate)'. 'Eotteokhaji' was written and composed by Soyeon herself, and is expected to deliver i-dle's unique emotional style. The album will be released in three different versions, including a limited edition.

With the release of the new Japanese album, i-dle will also embark on their first Japanese tour. Starting with Saitama Super Arena in Saitama on October 4 and 5, they will then perform at Glion Arena Kobe in Kobe on October 18 and 19. In addition, they will hold various release commemorative promotions, including fan signing events, in Tokyo and Osaka, officially kicking off their activities in Japan.

There is also strong local interest in i-dle. In March, i-dle made a surprise appearance on the Japanese TBS morning variety program 'Rabittto!' (LOVE it!), ranking high on social media trends, and last month received praise for their energetic live performance and distinctive stage presence on NHK's 'Venue 101'.

On August 16 and 17, i-dle will take the stage at Japan's largest music festival, 'Summer Sonic 2025 (SUMMER SONIC 2025)', gearing up for their local activities.
