1-Meter-Deep Sinkhole Appears in Dong-gu, Gwangju; No Casualties Reported

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on July 30, a small sinkhole with a surface diameter of 50 centimeters (inner width of 1 meter) and a depth of 50 centimeters appeared on a road in Geumnam-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju.

Due to emergency safety measures, there were no casualties.

Relevant authorities, including the Gwangju City General Construction Headquarters, plan to investigate the cause and carry out restoration work.
