On July 29, the Seoul Gwangjin Police announced that they had referred Mr. A, a man in his 30s and the representative of the company contracted to operate the Ttukseom Hangang Park outdoor swimming pool, to the prosecution without detention on charges of occupational negligence resulting in death and violation of the Sports Facilities Act.
