Hanjin Follows CJ Logistics in Observing 'No Delivery Day' for Liberation Day Holiday

Hanjin will suspend parcel delivery services during the Liberation Day holiday period on August 14 and 15 next month, in order to guarantee rest for delivery workers, similar to CJ Logistics.

According to the industry on July 29, Hanjin has designated August 14 and 15 as 'No Delivery Days,' allowing all delivery workers to stop deliveries and take a break. As a result, parcels received on August 13 will be delivered starting from August 16.

Previously, CJ Logistics also designated August 14 and 15 as 'No Delivery Days,' allowing all delivery workers to stop deliveries and take a break.

In 2020, the four major parcel delivery companies in Korea and the Ministry of Employment and Labor announced a joint declaration designating August 14 of every year as a 'No Delivery Day.' Although this declaration is not legally binding, it has been implemented annually through voluntary agreements between parcel delivery companies and workers.
