NH Investment & Securities Carries Out Volunteer Activities to Support Farms Affected by Heavy Rain

NH Investment & Securities announced on July 29 that it had visited facility-based farms in Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, which suffered significant damage due to heavy rains in July, to carry out volunteer activities to assist with farm labor.

On the 29th, NH Investment & Securities visited flood-affected farms in Yesan County, Chungnam Province, to carry out a company-wide volunteer activity to help with rural labor. This support was part of flood damage recovery efforts promoted by the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation. On this day, more than 40 executives and employees, including NH Investment & Securities CEO Yoon Byungwoon, participated in the volunteer activities. Lee Donghoon, CEO of affiliate NH Hedge Asset Management, and its executives and employees also joined. They visited facility-based farms in the Yesan area and worked to remove crops such as melons and cherry tomatoes that had been damaged by the floods. In addition, they provided relief supplies such as bottled water and instant rice.

Yoon Byungwoon, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, stated, "First of all, I would like to express my condolences to the farmers who have suffered enormous damage," and added, "As a member of NongHyup, which prioritizes the happiness of farmers above all else, we have a mission to contribute to the development of agriculture and farmers. I hope that, even with our small efforts, we can help speed up the recovery process." NH Investment & Securities is actively supporting farm labor assistance during the busy farming season, direct sales markets for agricultural products, and various long-standing projects in sister villages. In the first half of this year, when wildfires occurred in the Yeongnam region, the company and its employees voluntarily raised donations and contributed approximately 100 million won, actively participating in overcoming national disasters.
