Hansung Cleantech, a company specializing in industrial water treatment and ultrapure water EPC, announced on July 25 that it has received a purchase order (PO) from SK Hynix for the 'Yongin Cluster Ph1 WWT System Mechanical Installation Project'.
This PO receipt indicates that the Letter of Intent (LOI) for the total order volume of 36.4 billion KRW, which combines the SK Hynix contract (approximately 29.8 billion KRW) and the SK Ecoplant contract (approximately 6.6 billion KRW) disclosed through the electronic disclosure system on June 11, has now progressed to the actual execution phase. This is interpreted as reaffirming the client’s trust in Hansung Cleantech’s technological capabilities.
A company representative stated, "The Yongin Semiconductor Cluster is the largest semiconductor infrastructure project in Korea, with continuous investments worth tens of trillions of KRW expected over the coming years. The confirmation of this order is strategically significant, as it establishes Hansung Cleantech as a key water treatment infrastructure partner within the cluster."
The representative also added, "With this order as a stepping stone, we will actively respond to the expanding demand for ultrapure water and water treatment EPC in semiconductor clusters and beyond, laying the foundation for continued growth as a leading industrial water treatment company."
