The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on July 22 that it has donated 300 million won to the National Disaster Relief Association to assist people affected by extreme heavy rainfall in the central and southern regions.
The relief funds will be used for relief activities and support for the recovery of residents in areas severely impacted by heavy rain, including Sancheong and Hapcheon in South Gyeongsang Province, as well as Gwangju.
President Yoon Heeseong stated, "We hope that this support will help residents affected by the torrential rains return to their daily lives," adding, "We will continue to promptly participate in relief activities and support for victims whenever disasters occur in the future."
