According to fire authorities on July 20, at around 3:56 p.m. that day, a hydraulic system malfunction caused 87 people to become trapped inside the ascending and descending cable cars.

The operator has called in personnel to carry out maintenance on the facility and plans to evacuate the passengers as soon as repairs are completed.
