On July 14, as the sweltering heat subsided with the rain, tourists visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace in Jongno, Seoul enjoyed their trip under umbrellas. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast that some areas could experience heavy rainfall of 10 to 20 millimeters per hour, accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.
