A passenger car driven by a man in his 50s crashed into a residential unit on the first floor of an apartment building, injuring the driver and two residents.


According to the police on July 13, at around 6:42 p.m. that day, a passenger car driven by a man in his 50s, identified as A, crashed through the exterior wall of an apartment in Mokcheon-eup, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, and rammed into the first-floor veranda.


As a result of the accident, the driver, A, and an 80-something woman, B, who was living in the apartment, were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The police investigation confirmed that drunk driving was not involved.


The police believe that A caused the accident immediately after driving over a speed bump while entering the apartment complex and are conducting an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
