Lee Hoyoung, Acting Commissioner of the National Police Agency (and Deputy Commissioner of the National Police Agency), has concluded his 33-year career in public service.

The new Deputy Commissioner of the National Police Agency will be Yoo Jaesung, Director of the Criminal Affairs Bureau at the National Office of Investigation.
Currently, Commissioner Cho Jiho of the National Police Agency has been suspended from duty due to impeachment proceedings. He has been indicted on charges of blocking members of the National Assembly from entering the National Assembly building during the period of martial law.
