An unprecedented transnational creative collective has gathered at the UN Command site in Yongsan, which is considered the last prime location in central Seoul. 'The Parkside Seoul', which is being developed on the UN Command site, is a Seoul-style future city completed through the collaboration of world-class architects, designers, landscape architects, and hotel brands. The project will make its public debut in June with the first sale of its high-end officetel, 'The Parkside Suite'.

■ The Gathering of the World's Architectural Avengers... Korea's First Global Creative Collective

'The Parkside Seoul' is the only project in Korea that brings together leading experts from around the world, each with significant global influence in their respective fields.

The master plan was designed by the world-renowned architectural group KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox), which completed an urban design that reflects the identity of Seoul.

The interior design of 'The Parkside Suite' was handled by the prestigious London-based design studio Conran and Partners, incorporating the sensibilities accumulated in major global cities.

The landscape design was led by James Corner Field Operations (JCFO), the firm behind the New York High Line, which created 'The Parkside Way', a massive pedestrian network that connects nature and the city. The Parkside Way is a 330-meter urban cultural street that runs through the complex, featuring museums, galleries, public art, and cultural events, and serves as a new art belt connecting Itaewon and Yongsan Park.

The lighting design was handled by Dot Dash, a New York-based lighting design studio that participated in the Lotte Tower project, adding depth to the space.

'The Parkside Seoul' will also feature 'Rosewood Seoul', operated by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, a global luxury lifestyle company that manages luxury hotels, resorts, and residences. The hotel interiors were designed by Space Copenhagen and Joyce Wang.

'Rosewood Seoul', scheduled to open in 2027, will offer 250 rooms, fine dining restaurants, large-scale banquet halls, and the wellness space 'Asaya', providing a diverse luxury lifestyle experience that blends seamlessly into everyday life.

In particular, 'The Parkside Club by Rosewood Seoul', an amenity of Parkside Suite, will be directly operated by Rosewood Hotels and offer cafes, restaurants, lounges, food and beverage services, fitness, yoga, sauna, hydrotherapy pools, and a golf club, delivering a new level of service.

Domestic participants include DA Architecture, SKM, Junglim Architecture, Baum Architecture, and Seoan Landscape Architecture.

■ The New Center of Central Seoul, Embracing Future Value

Located on a 44,935-square-meter site in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, The Parkside Seoul will consist of 11 buildings ranging from 7 basement levels to 20 above-ground floors.

As a mixed-use development (MXD) that organically combines residential, hotel, retail, office, and cultural facilities, it realizes the concept of a 'Seoul-style universe'?a future city where urban living, city culture, nature, and art are seamlessly interconnected.

'The Parkside Suite', the subject of this initial sale, offers 775 high-end officetel units with exclusive areas ranging from 53 to 185 square meters, and features private amenities directly operated by Rosewood Seoul.

The Parkside Seoul is adjacent to Yongsan Park and close to Noksapyeong Station on Subway Line 6, boasting excellent transportation accessibility. Its connection to major nearby development sites such as Hannam New Town, Yongsan Maintenance Depot, and Camp Kim signals overwhelming future value, making it the focal point of the most remarkable transformation in central Seoul.

A representative of The Parkside Seoul stated, "This project goes beyond simple spatial development; it is about redefining the identity of the city of Seoul." The representative added, "In particular, owning The Parkside Suite in this sale is an extremely rare opportunity to possess a unique universe created by the world's top brands and experts."
