[Photo] KOSPI Falls Below 3,000 During Trading

As Middle East risks are rising due to a U.S. airstrike on Iran, the KOSPI index fell below the 3,000 mark during trading on June 23. The display board at Hana Bank's dealing room in Jung-gu, Seoul, shows the KOSPI index and the won/dollar exchange rate. On this day, the KOSPI index opened at 2,992.83 points, down 0.98% from the previous trading day (a decrease of 0.24%).
