On June 19, as daytime high temperatures exceeded 33 degrees Celsius and muggy weather persisted, children enjoyed playing in the fountain at Gwanghwamun Square in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that, starting tomorrow, heavy rainfall is expected across the country due to the influence of the monsoon front.
