Global children's job experience theme park Kidzania is holding special events at all of its locations to celebrate surpassing its 11,111,111th visitor.
On June 12, education and culture content specialist MBC Playbe Co., Ltd. announced that Kidzania's cumulative number of visitors has exceeded 11,111,111, and unveiled plans for a large-scale customer appreciation event to commemorate the milestone. As part of its social contribution activities, a large-scale sharing event will also be held, inviting 1,111 children free of charge.
The lucky winner this time was Isaac Park, age 7, who visited Kidzania Seoul and was selected as the 11,111,111th visitor, receiving an on-site celebration ceremony. Park, who currently resides in the United States, visited Kidzania during a two-week trip to Korea with his family and was fortunate enough to become the milestone visitor. Previously, at Kidzania Busan, 10-year-old Jo Inwoo was selected as the 11,111,110th visitor and also enjoyed a stroke of luck.
Park received a Kidzania annual free pass and a commemorative photo card, while visitors at the venue shared in the celebration with applause. Kidzania is also running a 'Lucky Draw Event' through June 30, offering various prizes such as Jin Air Jeju flight tickets and Kidzania invitation tickets.
Since opening its Seoul branch in February 2010, Kidzania has shown steady growth, surpassing 1 million cumulative visitors in just one year and six months, exceeding 5 million in 2017, 7 million in 2018, and reaching 100 million cumulative visitors worldwide in 2023, firmly establishing itself as a global theme park.
As of June 2025, the cumulative number of domestic visitors to Kidzania stands at 7,059,027 children and 4,051,944 adults. The oldest visitor was 88 years old. If all 11,111,111 tickets issued so far were lined up end to end, they would stretch about 1,333 kilometers?enough to travel between Seoul and Busan three times round trip.
In addition, the exclusive currency 'KidZos', which children earn and use through hands-on experiences, has been issued in a total amount of approximately 330 million KRW to date. This demonstrates that Kidzania serves not only as a play space but also as a practical venue for economic education.
A Kidzania representative stated, "The 11,111,111th visitor was counted based solely on paid admissions, excluding promotional events and group visits." The representative added, "While we usually hold events for every 10 millionth visitor, we planned this event to convey a message of progress and growth, inspired by the line of '1's in the number." The representative also said, "We will continue to provide even more diverse and enriching programs so that children can nurture their dreams through enjoyable and meaningful experiences."
Kidzania operates a premium program called 'Citizen Premium Membership' for its young customers, offering a variety of benefits.
