Suwon Nambu Fire Station Conducts CPR Training for Sign Language Volunteer Club

Suwon Nambu Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province conducted CPR training for the sign language volunteer club.

On the 11th, Suwon Nambu Fire Station announced that it had provided CPR training for the sign language volunteer club to help participants develop the ability to respond quickly in the event of cardiac arrest among people with hearing impairments and to secure the golden time to save lives.

The training was divided into hands-on CPR practice and instructions on how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Ko Youngju, Chief of Suwon Nambu Fire Station, stated, "Cardiac arrest is an emergency that can occur anytime and anywhere. If even one more person knows the correct first aid procedures, a precious life can be saved. We plan to continue taking the lead in protecting citizens' lives through regular CPR training sessions."

Suwon Nambu Fire Station operates first aid training and experiential programs to promote a culture of safety in the local community.
