Hwang Changsoon, CEO of Taeyang 3C, Appointed as New President of KONEX Association

The KONEX Association announced on June 11 that it has appointed Hwang Changsoon, CEO of Taeyang 3C, as its 5th president.


Outgoing 4th President Kang Yoongeun stated in his farewell address, "The KONEX market is a partner and a growth ladder for small and venture businesses," and added, "I hope that the association will continue to play a central role in promoting the development of the KONEX market and its member companies."

Incoming 5th President Hwang Changsoon expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am thankful for the unwavering dedication and passion of the previous presidents for KONEX, and I pledge to carry on their legacy." He continued, "I will do my utmost to ensure that the KONEX Association becomes a focal point for strengthening the network among member companies and for advancing the KONEX market." Hwang added, "I will continue to pursue initiatives such as identifying areas for institutional improvement related to the KONEX market, strengthening member services including attracting investment, and enhancing public relations. I will also contribute to solidifying the KONEX market's foundation as a growth ladder, helping it to establish itself as a self-sustaining market."


President Hwang is a business leader who has managed Taeyang 3C for 37 years since 1988. Since March, he has also served as the head of the Gangwon Branch of the Venture Business Association, earning recognition for his extensive expansion capabilities and flexibility in external activities and organizational management. Previously, Taeyang 3C received the Grand Prize for Excellence in Management at the 2024 KONEX Awards.
