SH Corporation Wins Excellence Prize at 'Seoul Environmental Awards'...Establishes Environmental Management System and Reduces Greenhouse Gases

Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on June 9 that it has received the Excellence Prize in the Environmental Technology and Management category at the 2025 Seoul Metropolitan City Environmental Awards.

The Seoul Metropolitan City Environmental Awards have been presented since 1997 to citizens, organizations, companies, and schools that have contributed to responding to the climate crisis and improving the environment. SH Corporation was recognized for its achievements, including the establishment of a systematic environmental management system, the development of a greenhouse gas reduction roadmap, and the completion of the Zero-Energy Apartment Complex at Godukgangil Phase 2.

SH Corporation has been implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management by introducing eco-friendly technologies, improving energy efficiency, and realizing a green city.

Hwang Sangha, President of SH Corporation, stated, "This award is a meaningful recognition of SH Corporation's achievements in environmental management," and added, "We will continue to contribute to the sustainability of Seoul and the improvement of citizens' quality of life through ongoing innovation in eco-friendly technologies and institutional improvements."
