The Future Technology School semiconductor training is a program that the city has been promoting since last year in cooperation with the Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency, aiming to foster practical talent for the semiconductor and electronic components industries.

For this training, 20 trainees were selected from a pool of 47 applicants. Over the course of 33 days, they will receive field-oriented practical training, which includes ▲ semiconductor process and equipment theory ▲ applied embedded device theory ▲ equipment operation practice.

Graduates of the program will also be given the opportunity to participate in a three-month on-the-job training at companies participating in the 'Hwaseong Youth Employment Competency Enhancement Project,' such as MAK, UST, TTS, PSK, and PSK Holdings.

Song Jihae, Director of Youth and Adolescent Policy at Hwaseong City, stated, "Graduates will be able to gain practical work experience in real corporate environments based on this program, thereby enhancing their employability," adding, "We will support young people in securing technology-based jobs through systematic training and employment-linked programs."
