"1,670 Han River View Units"... DL E&C Wins 1.7 Trillion Won Hanam 5 District Project

DL E&C has been officially selected as the contractor for the Hanam 5 District Residential Redevelopment Project in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a project with a construction cost of 1.7584 trillion won. As a result, DL E&C's cumulative urban redevelopment orders for this year have surged to 2.683 trillion won.

DL E&C announced on June 2 that it was chosen as the final contractor after receiving overwhelming support at the Hanam 5 District association general meeting held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on May 31. Out of a total of 1,545 association members, 1,170 attended, and 1,081 voted in favor, representing 92.4% approval. This achievement came on the company's third attempt, after two previous rounds ended without a winner.

This project, which will be introduced under the name "ACRO Hannam," gained the trust of association members with its Han River views, medium-to-large unit layouts, and distinctive design. Of the total 2,592 units, DL E&C offered Han River views to 1,670 units, exceeding the number of association households (approximately 1,550 units). Among these, 1,480 units will feature a "wide Han River view," representing the highest ratio of river-view units within the Hanam New Town area.

Seventy-four percent of the complex will consist of medium-to-large units with an exclusive area of 84 square meters or more. The project received positive feedback for its space-maximizing layouts and features such as the "ACRO Garden House," an indoor garden space. Through its in-house design strategy organization, the Design Innovation Center, DL E&C directly designed every aspect from the exterior to landscaping and community spaces, realizing a "timeless design" that retains its value over time.

A DL E&C representative stated, "We have spent a long time communicating with the association to define the direction of this complex, which has led to the proposal of a new high-end residential model, 'ACRO Hannam.' We aim to establish it as a landmark representing the Seoul Han River area."

The Hanam 5 District is a large-scale redevelopment project that will create 2,401 apartment units, 146 officetel units, and various ancillary facilities on a 141,186 square meter site at 60 Dongbinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu. The project has drawn attention for its highly profitable "flat terrain location" and excellent Han River views. With this contract awarded to DL E&C, all redevelopment districts within Hanam New Town have now completed contractor selection.
