A fire broke out on Suraksan Mountain in Nowon-gu, Seoul, at around 8:38 p.m. on the 1st.

Nowon-gu announced through a safety text message, "A wildfire has occurred behind the Suraksan Sports Center in Sanggye-dong," and advised, "Residents nearby should keep their windows closed and refrain from approaching the area around the mountain."
