He continued, "A person who has committed a crime seeks to impeach the prosecutor who investigated them, and after being convicted by the Supreme Court, talks about holding confirmation hearings for the Chief Justice, special investigations, and impeachment," adding, "Saying you want to change the law because you feel wronged by your punishment is like a thief saying we should abolish the crime of theft."
He further pointed out, "When he was investigated and brought to trial, he claimed it was political oppression. If he were truly innocent, shouldn't he face trial with confidence? The fact that such a person is running as a presidential candidate is an insult to the people."
Seong said, "A major opposition party with 180 members has nominated such a candidate. Even if the pride of the people is trampled, it should not be trampled to this extent," and appealed, "In this election, the people must unite and judge such a person, and choose candidate Kim Moonsu to restore justice."
He emphasized, "Kim Moonsu has lived his whole life in a small house of about 20 pyeong, dedicating himself to the nation and the vulnerable. Such a person is truly fit to be president."
He added, "Now is the time for the people to rise up. Each and every vote will be the first step toward restoring justice."
