Mgen Solution Unveils "AI Autonomous Firefighting Robot" for the First Time at Daegu International Fire Safety Expo

AI-based robotics technology company Mgen Solution will unveil its "AI Autonomous Firefighting Robot," currently being developed through its subsidiary Hyundai Infracore, for the first time at the International Fire Safety Expo.

On May 26, Mgen Solution announced that it will participate in the "2025 International Fire Safety Expo," which will be held at Daegu EXCO from May 28 to May 30.

The International Fire Safety Expo is the largest specialized exhibition for the fire and safety industry in Korea, held annually in Daegu. It showcases a wide range of advanced firefighting technologies and disaster response solutions, including smart firefighting technology, personal protective equipment, unmanned firefighting robots and drones, fire vehicles, as well as construction and fire safety facilities. This year, a total of 427 companies will participate with 1,521 booths, making it the largest event in the expo's history.

The AI Autonomous Firefighting Robot unveiled by Mgen Solution features an automated system capable of unmanned monitoring 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and can provide an initial response within 30 seconds after a fire breaks out. Equipped with AI-based fire detection capabilities and immediate suppression functions that can deploy water and fire extinguishing agents on-site, it is attracting attention as a next-generation technology that can overcome the limitations of existing firefighting systems.

In particular, this robot is equipped with fully autonomous driving capabilities, allowing it to independently recognize and navigate various obstacles such as ramps, bumps, and speed bumps. As a result, it can move freely and perform its missions even in complex industrial sites or large facilities. Additionally, it is designed with an AI-based prediction and decision-making system, enabling it to autonomously carry out not only firefighting activities but also security and patrol functions.

Mgen Solution plans to complete final testing and improvements by July, finalize product development, and then actively pursue commercialization and application in various industrial sites.

A representative from Mgen Solution stated, "The AI Autonomous Firefighting Robot we are unveiling is a next-generation robot designed to perform complex missions such as prediction, monitoring, and patrol, going beyond simple fire suppression," and added, "We will continue to develop smart firefighting technologies that can be applied to various industrial sites to strengthen disaster response capabilities."
