NH Nonghyup Bank IT Division Assists Fruit and Vegetable Farms During Farming Season

On May 26, the IT Volunteer Group from NH Nonghyup Bank's IT Division visited fruit and vegetable farms in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, to assist rural communities struggling with labor shortages.

More than 20 employees and executives who participated in the event worked diligently, carrying out tasks such as tying pumpkins and cucumbers, installing supports for eggplants, transporting agricultural materials, and conducting environmental clean-up activities.

Local employees and executives from Gangwon Province, including Han Geunsoo, head of Namsan Nonghyup, and Jeon Seongyeol, head of the Chuncheon branch of Nonghyup Bank, also joined the volunteer effort.

Park Doseong, Deputy President of the IT Division who took part in the volunteer activity, said, "We participated in this effort to provide even a small amount of help to farmers during the busy farming season," adding, "We will continue to share the challenges faced by rural communities and carry out social contribution activities that provide practical assistance."
