The Busanjin-Hinhae Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Park Sungho) conducted global investment promotion activities at the 'Korea-Europe Investment Seminar (K-FEZ Day in Europe)' held from May 19 to May 23, highlighting the strategic location and advanced industries of the Busanjin-Hinhae Free Economic Zone and its potential for future growth. The authority also held individual consultations with prominent local investors.

The seminar targeted around 60 potential investors from Europe and consisted of an investment briefing session on 'Real Estate Investment Promotion and Advanced Industries,' as well as customized one-on-one consultations with companies.
On May 20, at the 'Korea-UK Real Estate Investment Promotion Seminar' held in London, UK, the authority met with representatives from approximately 30 real estate and financial investment companies, including The Association of Real Estate Funds (finance) and Pure Data Centres Group (data centers). The authority promoted the vision and strengths of the Busanjin-Hinhae Free Economic Zone, introduced development plans for the southern container hinterland of Busan New Port and Jinhae New Port, and presented plans for residential and R&D center development within the Myeongji District. Individual consultations were also held with key local investors.
On May 22, at the 'Korea-Germany Advanced Industry Round Table' held in Frankfurt, Germany, the authority presented to resident and interested companies in the free economic zone, including Schenker (logistics), AMDT (factory automation solutions), Prettl (automotive parts), and Wilo Pump (mechanical parts). The presentations covered the vision and strengths of the Busanjin-Hinhae Free Economic Zone, as well as the Mieum and Nammun foreign investment zones, drawing significant interest from investors.
In addition to the joint promotional schedule, the authority also pursued targeted investment attraction activities. On May 21, it held investment consultations with a UK-based marine industry specialist company interested in entering Busan New Port and Jinhae New Port. On May 23, it engaged in networking with relevant organizations in Frankfurt, Germany, to identify potential investors.
Through these targeted investment attraction efforts, the authority actively promoted the logistics tri-port competitiveness and future scalability of the Busanjin-Hinhae Free Economic Zone, emphasizing new business opportunities for European companies.
Commissioner Park Sungho stated, "This joint promotion in Europe is an opportunity to maximize achievements in attracting foreign investment in the authority's core industrial sectors," adding, "Through strategic partnerships with Europe, including the UK and Germany, we will further strengthen the status of the Busanjin-Hinhae Free Economic Zone as a global business hub in Northeast Asia."
