This event was co-hosted by the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) and the French industrial federation MEDEF. From Korea, a total of 15 companies participated, including major conglomerates such as Hyundai Motor, SK, and Hanwha Solutions, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

Maid is a technology-based startup spun off from Hyundai Motor, manufacturing and supplying high-performance components for semiconductor equipment, aerospace, and small modular reactors using 3D printing technology. 3D printing technology is one of the 'Top 10 Core Strategic Technologies' designated by the U.S. government. Maid is attracting attention by rapidly meeting the demand of domestic and international manufacturers for components based on silicon carbide (SiC), leveraging its top-level technological capabilities.

At this event, Maid CEO Cho Shinho introduced the company's 3D printed SiC (silicon carbide) products and technologies, and discussed ways to cooperate with French global companies in developing advanced materials. In particular, he focused on expanding technological exchanges with French companies in the aerospace, semiconductor, and nuclear sectors, based on research and development (R&D) capabilities.
