[Special Stock] Noel Rises on Hopes for 'Nobel Prize of Patents'... Selected as WIPO Finalist

Selected as One of the 30 Finalists

Noel, a company specializing in AI-based blood and cancer diagnostics, is seeing a rise in its stock price. This appears to reflect expectations after Noel was selected as a finalist for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Global Awards, often referred to as the Nobel Prize in the field of patents.

As of 10:59 a.m. on May 21, Noel's stock price was up 7.29% from the previous day, trading at 2,355 won. This increase is believed to be due to the announcement that Noel was named one of the 30 finalists in the WIPO Global Awards.

The WIPO Global Awards recognize startups and small and medium-sized enterprises that leverage intellectual property (IP) to drive business growth and create social impact. This year, a record 780 applications were submitted from 95 countries. Out of these, 30 companies were selected as finalists. The final winners will be announced at the 66th WIPO General Assembly, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 11.

Noel combines artificial intelligence with biotechnology and medical technology to develop and sell its on-site diagnostic solution, "Mylab." The solution enables malaria diagnosis, blood analysis, and cervical cell testing, and is particularly effective in regions with limited access to healthcare.
