Changwon Special City Launches Pilot Operation of "Changwon, Please Review Our Policies!" Platform

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam Province announced on May 13 that it has been operating a pilot participatory city administration promotion platform called "Changwon, Please Review Our Policies!" since May. This platform allows citizens to directly share their opinions on policies and projects that have a significant impact on their daily lives.

This initiative was inspired by the way private companies improve their products through consumer reviews and feedback. It was designed to incorporate citizens' experiences, expectations, and suggestions regarding policies into the city's administration.

The policies eligible for review are selected from welfare, safety, and daily life projects that citizens feel most directly. Participation is available through the official Changwon City blog. Citizens can check card news marked with the "Policy Review" symbol on the blog and leave their opinions or suggestions about the relevant policy in the comments section. The reviews submitted by citizens will be delivered to the relevant departments and used as valuable reference material for policy improvement.

"Changwon, Please Review Our Policies!" will be operated on a trial basis for three months from May to July. The decision on whether to officially launch the platform will be made based on the results of the pilot operation.

Lee Dongho, Public Relations Officer, stated, "This pilot project will serve not only as a means of promoting policies but also as valuable data for administrative improvement. As this is a great opportunity to review and supplement policies from the citizens' perspective, we hope for active participation from all citizens, who are the true owners of our policies."
