Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province will publicly recruit a private operator for the 'Rural Economic and Social Services Activation Support Center' until May 21.
According to the province on May 12, this open recruitment has been planned to improve the quality of life in rural areas and to revitalize the local economy.
The support center is a dedicated facility completed last March in Baekgu-myeon, Gimje City. It is a building with a total floor area of approximately 3,000 square meters, consisting of one basement floor and four above-ground floors. The center is equipped with a large conference room, four lecture rooms with advanced electronic whiteboards, accommodation facilities, and office spaces.
Notably, last month it was officially designated as the nation's first 'Rural Education and Training Institution,' drawing attention as a hub for programs related to social agriculture and regional service communities.
This consignment recruitment targets non-profit organizations within the province that have implemented or have a track record in projects related to rural economic and social services, village development, rural regeneration, returning to farming or rural migration, and rural tourism.
The selected organization will be responsible for the operation and management of the center's facilities and assets, as well as for carrying out rural social service activation projects required by Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.
A Jeonbuk provincial official stated, "Private sector expertise and flexible operation are extremely important for the spread of education and services centered on rural areas," and added, "We look forward to the active interest and participation of capable organizations."
