On May 10 (local time), China's state-run Xinhua News Agency reported that the United States and China have begun high-level trade negotiations. U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met in Geneva, Switzerland, on the morning of the same day to start talks.
