Carrot General Insurance announced on May 9 that it has launched a vehicle inspection reservation service for its vehicle management support platform, 'Carrot Car Care.'
This service allows customers to easily book and pay for comprehensive and regular vehicle inspections through the application.
Carrot Car Care has previously provided services that enable anyone to manage their vehicle easily by automatically checking maintenance records, and with the introduction of this new feature, it has expanded its management scope. In particular, the service now allows users to book and pay for mandatory comprehensive and regular vehicle inspections overseen by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
This service is provided through a partnership with Monoplatform, which operates the mobility platform 'Whistle.' Carrot Car Care members can conveniently select an inspection center and make a reservation within the app when it is time for their vehicle inspection.
The inspection fee varies depending on the type of inspection, vehicle model and type, inspection items, and the chosen inspection center. The exact cost is provided at the time of reservation. For customers who are unable to visit the inspection center, a paid pickup reservation service is offered, with fees varying by pickup location.
A Carrot General Insurance representative stated, "Carrot is actively supporting various proactive prevention services for safe driving, and the integration of advance inspection notifications, reservation, and pickup services is part of these efforts. We will continue to seek out and provide a variety of services that offer practical benefits to our customers' daily lives," the representative added.
