On May 8, as Kim Moonsoo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, was heading to Sarangjae at the National Assembly for a second meeting aimed at unifying candidacies with Han Ducksoo, an independent presidential pre-candidate, a supporter of Han protested against Kim. Officials intervened to stop the protester.
