Coway has established a nationwide sales network and has begun full-scale business activities in the domestic funeral service market, which has grown to a scale of 10 trillion won. The nationwide 'Cody' organization, which helped Coway become the number one company in the home appliance market, is now taking the lead. In addition, Coway has differentiated itself in terms of customer trust by establishing a transparent accounting management structure. As a result, the company is expected to have a significant impact on the future landscape of the funeral service market.


According to Coway on May 9, more than 60% of visiting service coordinators have agreed to participate in the sale of funeral service products so far. Coway explained that pilot sales conducted in select regional offices since January have already exceeded internal targets in a short period of time, confirming a strong alignment with customer needs and a positive market response. Based on these results, Coway officially announced the launch of Coway Life Solution.

Coway Life Solution targets the 'new senior' generation, who prefer to plan their own later years rather than depend on family, in response to societal changes such as the transition to a super-aged society and the increase in single-person households. The company offers a flexible structure that allows customers to choose and switch products at key moments in life when expert assistance is needed, such as health, nursing care, caregiving, funeral services, as well as marriage, travel, and pet care. For example, the first products launched, 'Coway Life 599' and 'Coway Life 499', can be combined with Coway rental products to provide immediate lifestyle benefits, with the option to switch to other care products as needed in the future. In collaboration with 12 partner companies, Coway Life Solution has also prepared a variety of lifestyle benefits. The company plans to continue expanding partnerships to further enhance customer benefits.


This marks the first phase of Coway Life Solution's three-stage strategy following its official launch, focusing on initial market entry. In the second phase, the company plans to continuously launch a variety of care products tailored to the lifestyle of the new senior generation and to introduce, within the year, products that strengthen pre-support benefits, allowing customers to choose services when needed. In the third phase, Coway Life Solution will expand partnerships with existing premium senior towns to provide customized care for new seniors who are capable of independent living but require systematic wellness support.


Coway Life Solution also emphasized that it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coway and is the first in the industry to implement listed company consolidated accounting standards for transparent accounting management. The company has also strengthened customer asset protection and business stability through primary financial institution payment guarantees. This comes at a time when consumer anxiety is rising due to poor management and opaque advance payment practices in the funeral service industry.
