No Life-Threatening Injuries Reported Among Patients
A carbon monoxide leak occurred at a resort in Wando County, South Jeolla Province, resulting in several guests being transported to the hospital.
According to Wando County officials, police, and fire authorities, the incident took place at 6:56 a.m. on May 5, 2025, at a resort in Wando-eup, Wando County, South Jeolla Province.
As a result of the accident, 14 family guests showing symptoms of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning were urgently taken to the hospital.
Fortunately, all those transported are reported to be in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries.
The relevant authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
