Acting President and Prime Minister Han Ducksoo presented letters of appointment to seven newly appointed heads of overseas diplomatic missions at the Government Complex Seoul on April 29, 2025.

The new appointees include Tae Junyeol, Ambassador to Poland; Hong Seokin, Ambassador to the Netherlands; Lee Dongryeol, Ambassador to Denmark; Lee Junil, Ambassador to Iraq; Jeon Kyuseok, Ambassador to Lebanon; Kang Geumgu, Ambassador to Azerbaijan; and Lee Seungbeom, Ambassador to Croatia.

Kim Daeki, former Chief Presidential Secretary, and Bang Moonkyu, former Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, who were designated by former President Yoon Sukyeol as Ambassadors to China and Indonesia respectively, were not included in this round of appointments as they are special envoys.
