The Financial Services Commission announced on April 29 that it will sign a comprehensive support business agreement with Gwangju Metropolitan City.
To assist Gwangju citizens who have difficulty visiting the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency (KIFA) Integrated Support Center, the Financial Services Commission plans to launch an "On-site Comprehensive Support" service. Under this service, staff from KIFA and the Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) will visit local districts and counties to provide consultations on inclusive finance and debt adjustment.
The KIFA Integrated Support Center and local administrative welfare centers will conduct "Intensive On-site Training," in which staff from each institution will visit the other to provide training for counselors. The two organizations will also collaborate to promote Gwangju-specific comprehensive support policies by utilizing local resources.
The Financial Services Commission explained that it will continue to work with local governments to ensure that users can conveniently and comprehensively access inclusive finance, debt adjustment support, and welfare services in each region.
