Audi Korea Begins Pre-Orders for A5, Starting at 57.89 Million Won

Three-Day Pre-Launch Preview Event Starting May 16

Audi Korea announced on April 29 that it has begun pre-orders in Korea for its premium midsize sedan, "The New Audi A5." Audi Korea will unveil the A5 in the Korean market for the first time through a preview event held over three days starting May 16, prior to the official launch.

The Audi A5 is the first sedan model to feature Audi's newly developed "PPC (Premium Platform Combustion)" platform, which is dedicated to internal combustion engine and plug-in hybrid models. The model is recognized for inheriting the identity of a premium sedan while achieving progressive changes across design, technology, and performance.

The Audi A5 features a long wheelbase and a low, sporty body, expressing both a dynamic impression and elegance. Practicality is enhanced with a coupe-style, smoothly sloping roofline and a tailgate designed to open fully, including the rear glass.

The interior creates a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere with eco-friendly premium materials and an ergonomically designed "Soft Wrap" concept. The "Digital Stage" panoramic display concept, which combines an 11.9-inch Virtual Cockpit, a 14.5-inch MMI touch display, and a 10.9-inch passenger display, provides both the driver and passengers with an intuitive and immersive digital experience.

Audi has equipped the A5 with a high-efficiency Mild Hybrid Plus (MHEV Plus) system. This system delivers up to 18 kW of additional output (based on European certification) and enables efficient driving without engine intervention when needed.

Before the official launch of the A5 in Korea, Audi Korea will hold a preview event where consumers can see the actual vehicle. The event will take place over three days from May 16 to May 18 at Aeropeace in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province. Applications for participation can be made through the Naver pre-order page from today until May 28.
