Daejeon Office of Education to Host 9th Korea Children's Play Festival

The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that, in celebration of the 103rd Children's Day, it will host the 9th Korea Children's Play Festival at Exhibition Hall 2 of the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) from May 2 to May 5, 2025.

The Children's Play Festival, held under the theme "Kids, Let's Play!", will offer a variety of 67 different play programs on site for children to experience, aiming to promote a healthy play culture. In addition, an online Play Festival platform will be operated to allow for virtual participation.

This year, the festival will feature themed play exploration pavilions, a physical activity zone, and an event zone (including face painting and balloon art), providing even more enjoyment for participating children. There will also be a stamp tour where children can receive commemorative gifts.

Superintendent Seol Dongho stated, "We will make every effort to ensure that the 9th Korea Children's Play Festival, which will serve as a stepping stone for spreading a healthy play culture, is a safe and enjoyable event with the participation of many students, parents, and citizens."
