Daejeon Tourism Organization Successfully Concludes 'Asia Wine Trophy Awarded Wine Roadshow'

The Daejeon Tourism Organization announced that approximately 1,500 people?including Hyundai Department Store customers, wine shop representatives, sommeliers, and influencers?attended the 'Asia Wine Trophy Awarded Wine Roadshow' held from the 25th to the 27th at the 13th floor Culture Hall of Hyundai Department Store Cheonho Branch.

The roadshow was organized in conjunction with the '2025 Daejeon International Wine EXPO' and featured tastings and sales of outstanding wines from around the world that were awarded at the 'Asia Wine Trophy.' Sixteen leading domestic wine importers participated, offering a selection tailored to a wide range of preferences, from wine enthusiasts to beginners.

In addition, the event featured a promotional booth for Kkumdori, Daejeon's representative character, as well as goods, and included two of Daejeon's renowned premium bakeries and a local grocery company, presenting a variety of desserts and food content that received a positive response.

Yoon Sunguk, President of the Daejeon Tourism Organization, stated, "This event was held to promote the 'Daejeon International Wine EXPO' and attract visitors," adding, "This year, we will continue to prioritize safety and present a wide array of attractions and entertainment content to establish this as Korea's leading event."

Meanwhile, the '2025 Daejeon International Wine EXPO' will be held from October 24 to 26 at Exhibition Hall 2 of the Daejeon Convention Center, and will feature a variety of events including the Asia Wine Trophy, International Wine Conference, Korean National Sommelier Competition, wine culture events, and the Wine & Spirits Expo.
