Creating a Warm Workplace Culture
Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pilhyung) held an event called "Employee Birthday Celebration Day" on April 25 for staff members whose birthdays fall in March and April. The event was organized to foster communication among employees, strengthen bonds between colleagues, and create a warm workplace atmosphere.
Since 2023, the district has also granted special leave to employees on their birthdays to make the occasion more meaningful. In addition, the value of birthday gifts has increased from 50,000 won last year to 100,000 won starting this year.
