Free Forest Experience Programs for Families
at Waryong and Banghwa-dong Natural Recreation Forests in May
Jangsu County in North Jeolla Province will offer a variety of forest experience programs free of charge for family visitors at Waryong and Banghwa-dong Natural Recreation Forests in celebration of Family Month in May.
According to the county on April 25, these programs have been prepared as hands-on educational experiences designed to foster children's creativity and promote communication within families, as well as nature-friendly healing content.
Jangsu County will operate a variety of forest experience programs free of charge for family visitors at Waryong and Banghwa-dong Natural Recreation Forests in celebration of Family Month in May. Provided by Jangsu County
원본보기 아이콘At Waryong Natural Recreation Forest, visitors can soothe their weary bodies and minds from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy a time of healing and recovery in the "Healing Forest." Programs include forest path walking meditation, aromatherapy, forest yoga, nature play and emotional experience activities for parents and children to participate in together. This program will be available for eight days from May 3 to May 11, except for the regular Monday closure, and reservations can be made by phone.
At the outdoor area of Banghwa-dong Natural Recreation Forest, educational and play-based customized programs will be operated, such as ecological experience programs with forest interpreters, allowing children and their guardians to enjoy forest experiences together. This program will be available at all times except for May 5 and 6, and reservations can also be made by phone.
County Governor Choi Hunsik stated, "This event has been planned to provide learning and fun for children and healing and relaxation for parents through a variety of experiences with nature. I hope that all families will visit Waryong and Banghwa-dong Natural Recreation Forests, the best resorts in Korea, and create unforgettable and precious memories together."
