The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 25th that it held the 'Lovely Concert: SME Love Sharing Concert' in collaboration with the SME Love Sharing Foundation.
Since 2019, the Korea Federation of SMEs has been organizing nationwide concert tours for SMEs and small business owners who are unable to enjoy cultural activities due to their busy daily lives. The Daejeon concert, held on the 24th, was the first of five regional concerts scheduled for this year. The event was attended by Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, Son In-guk, Chairman of the SME Love Sharing Foundation, Lee Jang-woo, Mayor of Daejeon, as well as about 1,200 SME and small business representatives.
The concert featured performances by the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Yoon Seung-eop, tenor Jin Sung-won, sopranos Park Sung-hee and Kim Sun-young, jazz vocalist Go Ara, and the show choir group Harmonize. They performed well-known classical masterpieces, movie soundtracks, and nostalgic pop songs. In particular, specially produced videos matching the content of each piece were presented alongside the orchestral music, offering a diverse visual experience for the audience. For the encore, the performers selected 'Daejeon Blues' for the local audience, heating up the concert hall.
Chairman Kim stated, "We prepared this concert so that SME owners and small business owners, who are exhausted from their busy routines, could enjoy and be encouraged together." He added, "The Korea Federation of SMEs will continue to take the lead in spreading a culture of love and sharing within the SME community."
