Honam University announced on April 25 that its Student Counseling Center has recently signed separate memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with two local mental health specialist institutions: Park&Jung Clinical Psychology Clinic and Ajin Psychological Counseling Center.

The agreements focus on supporting the psychological stability and emotional recovery of students on campus, as well as establishing a community-based psychological support system for high-risk intervention and professional counseling referrals.

The Student Counseling Center discussed practical cooperation measures with each institution, including collaboration in specialized counseling areas and providing information on psychological and emotional programs and local institutions.

A representative from the Honam University Student Counseling Center stated, "Going forward, we plan to expand a stable counseling network that enables students to receive timely support even in psychological crisis situations, by strengthening professional counseling within the university and building cooperative systems with local mental health institutions."
