The Sunday Moving Bank was established to improve financial accessibility for foreign workers who find it difficult to visit bank branches during regular weekday business hours.

Starting on April 27, and subsequently on May 18, June 22, and July 27, the service will be available on the first Sunday after the 20th of each month. It will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the main gate parking lot of the Samsung Heavy Industries "Rest Center" (Samsung Heavy Industries employee dormitory) in Geoje.

At the Sunday Moving Bank, customers can access financial services such as deposits and withdrawals, account opening, reissuance of lost items, and password changes.

In addition, BNK Kyongnam Bank plans to use AI translation and interpretation devices to facilitate smooth communication with foreign workers.

Kim Hyungtae, head of the Personal Customer Department, stated, "We decided to operate the Sunday Moving Bank to ease the difficulties of foreign workers who struggle to conduct banking during weekdays due to tight work schedules. We hope foreign workers will make full use of this service by checking the operation dates, times, and locations carefully."

Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank is making various efforts to enhance financial convenience for foreign workers, including the operation of the Sunday Moving Bank.

In 2024, the bank established a "dedicated counter for foreign workers" and launched exclusive products such as the "K dream Global Account" to provide tailored financial services for foreign workers.

The bank also plans to continue expanding channels, installing translation and interpretation devices, and holding various events to further improve convenience for foreign customers.
