On the 25th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience clear skies with a large temperature difference between day and night. While the weather will be warm and spring-like during the day, it is expected to be chilly in the mornings and evenings, so extra care for your health is advised.


According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will be affected by a high-pressure system moving over the West Sea from the area near the Shandong Peninsula in China.


The morning low temperatures are expected to be 6 degrees Celsius in Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Hwasun, Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, and Boseong; 7 degrees in Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, Gurye, and Gangjin; 8 degrees in Gwangju, Goheung, and Haenam; 9 degrees in Jindo, Wando, and Yeosu; and 10 degrees in Shinan, Mokpo, and Gwangyang.


The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to reach 21 degrees in Gwangyang; 20 degrees in Gwangju, Gurye, Suncheon, Goheung, and Wando; 19 degrees in Naju, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Hwasun, Boseong, Yeongam, Jangheung, Gangjin, Haenam, and Yeosu; 18 degrees in Hampyeong; 17 degrees in Yeonggwang, Muan, and Jindo; and 16 degrees in Shinan and Mokpo.


Waves on the sea are expected to be 0.5 to 1 meter high in the coastal waters of the West Sea and South Sea. Fine dust levels are forecasted to be 'moderate' in the morning and to worsen to 'bad' levels in the afternoon.


An official from the Meteorological Administration said, "There may be areas where wind gusts exceed 55 km/h (15 m/s), so please pay attention to facility management and safety to prevent accidents."
