An additional 300 meters were added to the existing repaved section (L=282m), creating a pleasant and safe passage environment throughout the entire village. This is expected to not only improve the quality of life for residents but also enhance the overall dignity of the city.
The Hongmaehwa cluster creation project in Imyung Village, which was the next site visited, aims to expand tourism resources and revitalize the local commercial district by planting Hongmaehwa trees along the seaside in front of the village.
This project was completed in April and included site leveling, installation of walking mats, maintenance of photo zones, and planting of Hongmaehwa trees. Residents, including the Jinjeon-myeon Residents' Autonomy Committee, also participated by planting landscaping trees and herbaceous flowers, contributing to the improvement of the village landscape.
Park Dongjin, Mayor of Masanhappo District Office, stated, "The creation of a safe and pleasant living environment is improving the quality of life for residents of Jinjeon-myeon," and added, "We will continue to actively pursue various projects that can enhance urban dignity and implement proactive safety measures."
