Seocheon and Yesan Counties in Chungnam Selected for Tourism Transportation Activation Support Project

Operation of Integrated System Enabling Reservations via Transportation Apps such as KakaoT and TmoneyGO
The Chungnam Provincial Government announced on April 24 that Seocheon County and Yesan County have been selected as final recipients in the “2025 Public-Private Partnership Tourism Transportation Activation Support Project” organized by the Korea Tourism Organization.
This project aims to revitalize local tourism transportation, such as tourist taxis and city tours, and to improve accessibility. For the first time this year, 27 cities, counties, and districts nationwide were selected through an open call.
The selected regions will operate an integrated system that provides information on tourism transportation products and enables reservations through transportation apps such as KakaoT and TmoneyGO.
In addition, various marketing support measures will be provided, including mileage rewards, discount benefits, and banner promotions.
An official from the provincial government stated, “In celebration of the Year of Visiting Chungnam, we will enhance convenience for tourists using public transportation.”
