This volunteer event was organized to commemorate Disabled Persons Day (April 20), and was attended by about 30 employees from both companies, including flight attendants from Air Busan's volunteer club "Blue Angel" and Jin Air's in-house volunteer club "I Am Nabi."
The employees from both companies formed two teams to assist with program activities and to carry out environmental cleanup within the facility. They helped with art activities, such as making cherry blossom trees to welcome spring, and assisted with indoor physical activity programs, sharing meaningful memories together with the facility's residents with disabilities.
On this day, Air Busan also delivered a donation to support children with disabilities at Bethesda Center. This donation will be used for housing, education, and self-reliance support for people with disabilities.
An Air Busan representative said, "It was a valuable time for people with and without disabilities to come together, communicate, and build bonds," adding, "We will strive to fulfill our social responsibility as a local company and exert a positive influence through a variety of activities together with the local community."
Blue Angel, a volunteer club voluntarily formed by Air Busan flight attendants, has been regularly conducting on-site volunteer activities since its founding, including sharing volunteer work at local welfare centers, volunteering for the protection of abandoned animals, and talent donation volunteer work, continuously seeking out places in need of help.
